Fort Lytton Historical Association presents The 100 Year Spanish Flu Commemoration complete with historical re-enactments and Canon Firings.
The fort is open 10am-4pm with free tours of the military fort and historical re-enactments. Soldiers from the Great War Association will be on site, guarding the quarantine station and recuperating on their return from the war. Imagine you have been quarantined on a ship at Fort Lytton because of the outbreak of Spanish Flu. Experience a chamber music concert that may have entertained on the deck of a quarantined ship filled with returning World War I soldiers. Music from 10:15am-11:30am and 1-2pm featuring Yellow Bird Trio and Vivace.
